Vocational Pathways Programme Taster Evening
23rd February 2012 6.30 pm - 9.00pm (Registration from 5.45pm)
The VPP Taster Evening provides an opportunity for S2-S6 pupils to gain hands on experience with two practical sessions of their choice. They will also have the chance to speak to tutors and current VPP students on the course content, progression from VPP and any other aspects on college life. Pupils must complete a Taster Reservation form as allocation is determined on a 'first come first served' basis. The taster evening is NOT a drop in evening, as there are Health and Safety issues to consider in the workshops, so please do not turn up if you have not pre-booked. Bookings must be made through Guidance staff at the school. Registration is from 5.45pm - 6.25pm, Welcome - 6.30 - 6.45. Tasters will finish at 9.00pm.

You will also have the chance to speak to Information and Guidance staff on services available to you while studying at Inverness College UHI, for example areas in which they can help include:
- Stress and anxiety
- Exam Pressure
- Depression
- Money Worries
- Relationships
- College issues
The Students Awards Agency will also be in attendance so that you can find out more about funding support whilst you are a student.

Open Days
These are similar to Open Evenings, however you will also have the opportunity to participate in a college tour, engage in the activities of our Student Association and various focus groups and find out more information on college life by interacting with our current students.
