The school has excellent links with public and private sector employers working particularly closely with NHS Highland and Highland Council Social Work Services, ensuring rapid response to changes in customer requirements.  Recent developments in this sector include the HNC Health Care.  We have also established a Childcare Training Centre within the college's childcare services for training both nursery staff and out of school care workers. The whole of the Highlands and Islands and areas beyond are served through an extensive provision of flexible learning, workplace assessment and collaborative projects.  Alongside traditional vocational qualifications and open learning opportunities the School delivers on the UHI BA in Child and Youth Studies and is course leader for the UHI postgraduate MSc Infection Control.  Both of these degrees are delivered on-line with tutorial support, allowing you to study at home, in your workplace or at a local learning centre.  Undergraduate modules in Infection Control are currently being piloted with NHS Highland.
