Carpentry and Joinery National Progression Award (SCQF level 5)
Content include occupational practices, safety practices, efficient working practices, bench joinery, manufacture of components, constructional carpentry skills, site joinery skills, repair and maintenance, IT, numeracy, communications and scaffolding. Students work towards the National Progression Award in Construction Crafts (Intermediate 2). All students will be interviewed and tested by Construction Skills.
Entry requirements (mature students)
- Successfully complete interview and college test. Will be confirmed with the applicant.

- Successfully complete interview and college test
- 3 Standard Grades at general level 4 or above
- A pass in the Construction Skills entrance test would be an advantage

Continuous assessment throughout each unit.
