Engineering Systems HNC

The HNC Engineering Systems programme consists of a range of mechanical, electrical and general engineering units.  It is designed to equip students with fundamental knowledge and understanding pertinent to a wide range of industry.  This could include the production, manufacture or energy industries.

Entry requirements (mature students)

  • NC/NQ level qualification or relevant industrial experience.

Entry requirements (school leavers)

  • Normally 1 Higher at C or above in a relevant subject.

How is the course assessed?

Continuous assessment. Assessment takes place throughout each unit. Completion of a graded unit is also required.
