Adult Foundations NQ Units at Access 1 or 2

This course is for students with moderate to severe learning difficulties. The main aim is that they develop autonomy, self-reliance and maturity through participation in a range of activities. Subjects may include enterprise, numeracy and shopping, cookery, group activities, art, film and media studies, environmental issues, citizenship, IT and office skills.

Entry requirements

Application form and informal interview.

How is the course assessed?

Assessment takes place throughout each subject.

What next?

  • Some students may be able to progress to the Skills Builder course.

  • Supported employment working with a job coaching agency.
