Government and regulator relations
This section covers information the college provides to government and external regulators. By virtue of its nature most colleges will probably find that the majority of these classes are already made available to the public by some means.
Members of the public are also likely to find the same or related information is available from the external partners the college has links with.
Funding body statistical reports and returns:
Information that the college is legally obliged to make available to its funding body.
The college is legally obliged to report statistics to the Scottish Funding Council on a regular basis. Data that is submitted is aggregated and identifies the programme groups which are active, the different levels of study and the varying modes of attendance.

Reports on College by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education (HMIE). The college was subject to a follow up Review on its Further Education provision by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) in January 2009. The previous report (November 2006) is currently available from the same website. The college has an annual engagement with HMIe and participates in specific subject/aspect reviews as requested by HMIe. The college’s Higher Education provision is reviewed by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) as part of the University of the Highlands and Islands provision. Reports on subject specific reviews can be obtained from the QAA website (www.QAA.ac.uk) or by contacting: Quality Unit Information which the College is legally required to publish. Statistical information on these matters which the college is required by the Funding Council to publish. The Scottish Funding Council collates student information across the Further and Higher Education sectors. The information can be accessed via their website www.sfc.ac.uk by selecting the “Statistics” option from the menu at the top of the page.
