Inverness College UHI Encourages Locals to Get on the Road to Success

Bus passengers, radio listeners and the local people of Inverness are being encouraged to consider a change in direction – as Inverness College UHI launches its summer campaign to get adults on the road to success by returning to education.
Places are available to start this September, so why not learn more about the opportunities offered by the College at one of its open events being held at the Longman Campus later this month – from 11am - 4pm on 18th August or from 5:30pm - 7:30pm on the 25th August.
There are still spaces on courses such as the new BSc Architectural Technology,
as well as courses on Professional Cookery, Engineering and Business Management
and Accounting. There are both full and part-time courses available for
potential students.
The new campaign includes advertising placed on bus sides in and around Inverness, and posters in the train station that ask:
“are you heading in the right direction?” A radio advertisement will also
feature, encouraging people to consider their options.
Principal John Spencer, said, "Now is a really good time to be thinking
about your future and maybe making changes which will benefit your employment
status as well as doing something different.”
“We have a vast array of vocational and academic pathways suitable for every
personality. From those who are not happy with the route they have taken and
are thinking of a career change, to those who are looking to gain more skills
and qualifications to be competitive to employers.“
