Short courses for individuals and business
Inverness College UHI offers a wide range of training for businesses and people in business. You can study at the College or in the work-place as appropriate to your choice of course. Subject areas are diverse and include management, personnel, micro-renewables installation, food hygiene and health & safety.
Most college-based courses are delivered in our Longman campus, just minutes away from the centre of Inverness. In addition to the normal range of classrooms we have a BPEC accredited oil, gas and micro-renewables training and assessment centre on this site.
We also offer a wide range of work-based vocational qualifications and Modern Apprenticeships in business-related subjects such as management, administration and learning & development. Many of these can be supported through Skillseekers funding managed by the Training Contracts Unit with the Business Development team.
