Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course but delegates should have an understanding and experience of electrical principles and practice.

The course is in two sections.  The training section will prepare individuals to confidently complete the appliances assessments.

4 Days

One Thursday per week for four weeks from start date

How will I be assessed?

The assessment section involves the candidate undertaking a series of practical checks to a standard that confirms competence in carrying out work safely.

£200 ILA funding is available for this course.  To obtain your ILA please contact ILA Scotland on 0800 917 8000 for an application pack or check online at www.myworldofwork.co.uk

ILA's must be in place before the course, they cannot be submitted retrospectively.

What can I do on completion of my course?

The natural progression for this course is the City & Guilds 2394 & 2395 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations.
