What is special about this course?

This course covers a range of specialist forestry and conservation units and wll provide you with basic rural skills.

Entry requirements

 

  • You should be a minimum preferred age 16 by 1 August, 2016
  • have an interest in working in land-based industries including forestry, rural and estate work
  • you may be invited to interview

Subjects include -

  • tree identification
  • fencing
  • tree planting
  • weeding
  • draining
  • rural carpentry
  • blockwork
  • field drainage.
