What is special about this course?

The finance and business services sector has been identified in Scotland's economic strategy as a growth sector. The programme will prepare you for a career in accounting and financial accounting.

Entry requirements

SCQF level 5, SVQ Level 2:

Candidates should be aged 16 or over and in paid employment in a financial environment.

SCQF level 6, SVQ Level 3:

Candidates should be aged 16 or over and in paid employment in a financial environment, it is recommended tht the candidate has either completed the Level 2 or a Higher Accountancy.

The modern apprenticeship includes recording financial transactions, management information, maintaining financial records and managing costs and finance.
