Modern Apprenticeship in Customer Service

What is special about this course?

The Customer Service Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 5 and 6 developed by Skills CFA offers employers the opportunity to select an apprenticeship appropriate to their organisation and sector.  The key purpose of customer service is to "Win and maintain customer satisfaction whilst continuously monitoring and improving their customer service."

The Modern Apprenticeship will develop the skills, knowledge and competencies required to be effective Customer Skills Professionals.



Entry requirements

Candidates must be employed in a Customer Service environment. Applications should be made by employers through the Business Solutions team at Inverness College UHI. The team can be contacted on 01463 273666.

It is expected that apprentices following this framework will take on average 12 months to complete. This will be a combination of work-based learning and off-the-job training to complete the SVQ and core skills at the required level.  Skills CFA encourages the achievement of additional awards, qualifications and training, where relevant.

  • Entry onto the Customer Service Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 6.
