What is special about this course?

This course has been designed to allow you to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in fabrication and welding processes.  The course is ideal if you want to enter the fabrication and welding industry. It includes practical and thermal cuttings along with theory. 

Entry requirements

School leavers

  • English and Maths or Physics National 4 pass; and an Intermediate 1 at C or above, or National 4 pass in an engineering related subject. 
  • Applicants may be invited to interview

Mature students

  • Evidence of skills and knowledge gained in the fabrication and welding industry and detailed on your personal statement.
  • Applicants may be invited to interview
