What is special about this course?
This Modern Apprenticeship is a work-based qualification for people employed in the industry. It is certified by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). It can be undertaken by the apprentice at the same time as the IMI Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Modern Apprenticeship, which is delivered in college by block release. This course consists of work-based training and provides the dual benefit of students gaining a nationally recognised qualification while being paid as they work.

Candidates must be working in a relevant industry.
Over the course of the apprenticeship you will work to achieve the SVQ 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair at SCQF level 5.
