Students have been exploring the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the importance of sustainability to create matchbox art, which symbolises the restrictions faced by them during the COVID-19 pandemic and their continued engagement in creative practice.

Frank To, art and design lecturer at Inverness College UHI, said: “The whole purpose of the exhibition is not only to address the pressing contemporary world issues of which the UN Sustainable Development Goals are trying to solve, but to show the resilience of the students during this pandemic. They have truly shown that they can overcome any challenge if they set their mind to it, and I am incredibly proud of what they have achieved this year.”

The online exhibition, Little Big World, will run throughout the Easter holiday period.
