Induction Information for School Pupils
Please find information below about Induction days, course start dates and other helpful information. Further details will be included in your pack which you will receive when you come to college and handbooks are also downloadable from this page.
We hope you have all had a great summer and are feeling refreshed and ready to go. For many of you, coming to college will be a new experience and its natural that you will have questions. In these pages we want to give you important points to remember but also tell you about some of the fun things you can expect here.
The important things you need to know are as follows:
- You will receive a student ID card and you must keep this safe. You must be able to show this on request to any member of staff. If there is a difficulty you must let your lecturer or the Schools team know as soon as possible. If you need to speak to someone in the Schools team and your lecturer is unavailable then please ask at reception and we will be informed that you need to speak to one of us.
- If you are provided with a Highland Council bus pass then please keep this safe. If you lose it you must tell your Guidance teacher and the Highland Council Schools/College Liaison Officer, Linda King. Please note that we cannot issue new passes from the college.
- College closure dates and the Highland Council weather line can be accessed here.
- A downloadable copy of the Pupil Handbook is available.
