Degree Module: Environment of Mountain Ranges
The aim of the module is to provide an understanding of the natural environment that characterises mountain regions. In particular, you will compare different mountain regions in the context of mountain land use in five specific regions.
On completion of this module, you will be able to:
- Identify the key features of the mountain natural environment;
- Identify the differing environmental opportunities and constraints in mountain regions;
- Compare the characteristics of a range of mountain areas.
Students should have passed 2 Highers at C or above.
