Degree Module: Principles of Sport and Exercise Psychology
This degree level module is delivered across one academic semester. Throughout the course, you will study cognitive psychology and cognitive aids in sport and confidence, behavioural psychology and how this affects anxiety and stress. You will also look at organisational psychology and how this aids team cohesion and applied psychology and how this can inform health behaviours and ethical coaching practices.
This module is delivered across one academic semester (Semester 2). This programme of study is delivered via Brightspace; the North Highland College UHI Virtual learning platform.
Entry requirements: Three Highers at C or above with one literary subject, e.g. English, history or psychology and have a satisfactory reference, or evidence that you are able to work above Higher/ SCQF level 6. Entry to this course requires a satisfactory reference.
