This module provides a general introduction to Operations Management and explains how the Operations function fits within the organisation overall.

Course content...
This module introduces basic concepts of operations management and application of the same in business practice today. You will examine the theoretical foundations of operations management and how these principles or models can be employed in both tactical and strategic decision making. Topics covered include forecasting techniques, operations planning and scheduling, service operations management, capacity management and supply chain coordination.
Entry requirements
Students should have one relevant A-C pass at Higher level.
