You will study the interactions taking place between humans and the environment through a scientific treatment of the principles of ecosystems and contemporary resource use by society as a whole.

The implications of these interactions for the future wellbeing of the environment in its widest context will be a central theme of the course.

Course content...

The course will develop your scientific knowledge and experience by consideration of principles, methods, data collection, interpretation and analysis. Investigative fieldwork will be conducted in local areas.

Entry requirements

  • Three National 5 passes including one in Biology, Geography or Environmental Science.
  • Demonstrate an interest in the sector.
