Throughout the course, you will study:
- Creative Industries: An Introduction - The unit introduces learners to different sectors of the creative industries and the career paths, job roles and responsibilities of those working within the industry.
- Creative Industries: Skills Development - The focus of this unit is primarily on practical activity. Learners will have the opportunity to practise and develop their craft and improve practical skills associated with a chosen job role in the creative industries.
- Creative Industries: The Creative Process - The unit focuses on creative thinking and collaborative working. It will provide learners with an awareness of the key stages of a creative process.
- Creative Industries: Creative Project - The focus of this unit is primarily on practical activity carried out in a creative context. Learners will work as part of a team throughout the planning and implementation of a creative project to a given brief.

Achievement of this qualification could lead directly on to NC level 6 Music or Sound Production.
Entry requirements
You must have attained three passes at National 4 level, demonstrate a keen interest in at least one area within creative industries and have a satisfactory reference.
