Finance Team Leader

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to manage the provision of efficient and effective financial services to support departmental requirements and operational effectiveness. This includes the management of a team of staff dealing with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, banking, ledger control processes. The role will also involve reconciliation and preparation of returns in relation to student support funds.
This is an exciting time for the finance team as it undergoes a period of significant change, including the replacement of our finance system, and review of current processes. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the skills to manage, develop and encourage their team through a period of significant change. Working well with support and academic teams across the college is essential to ensure an excellent service is delivered to staff and students.
Good analytical, communication, planning and organisational skills are essential, and you must be committed to providing the best possible service to students and staff.
