Range of programmes

Inverness College UHI offers a wide range of opportunities and courses at all levels. These are designed in consultation with employers, industry and relevant work sectors. This means your final qualification and skills are right up to date. We can also help you gain an effective and relevant work placement if this is relevant to your course, or decide where to take your studies in the future. Whether you would like to study abroad, change your course part way through, re-skill or simply undertake a full-time course that will take you towards a new career at Inverness College we will have something for you.

Inverness College UHI welcomes educational groups from across the globe to use the Highlands of Scotland as their classroom. The International Team works with international faculty to develop their own truly unique Scottish Experience Programme based on their academic goals and enhanced by our social and cultural expertise.

Careers and employment

We realise that one of the factors that is important to you when considering the cost of studying overseas is the advantage it will give you in getting a job while studying and after you have completed your degree. At Inverness College UHI we will help you develop your employability skills by providing opportunities for hands-on learning and work placements. We also offer career workshops giving you guidance, information and support to find your place in the job market.

We expect highest standards and care from our counsellor partners as they introduce students to our programmes. In return, representatives can expect support from the International Office and a range of benefits and incentive programmes.

If you are interested in joining our network, we will expect you to provide suitable references and be able to propose a marketing plan for the area you are to going to cover.  As an affiliate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing accurate information about Inverness College UHI courses and services to prospective students
  • Advising students about visa requirements and assisting with visa applications
  • Assisting with travel arrangements
  • Verifying and/or translating academic transcripts
  • Assisting with or facilitating the payment of fees
  • Liaising regularly with our staff
  • Keeping up-to-date on programme developments, closures, etc.

 

Your application should demonstrate your capacity to provide these services.
