This course provides the perfect foundations for a career in the construction industry, giving you the knowledge and skills required to work as a technician.
Entry requirements
Successful completion of an NPA Construction related course or 3 National 4 passes or above or equivalent, in appropriate English, Science, Mathematics or technical subjects.
Applicants who do not meet these criteria but have relevant industry related experience will be considered at the discretion of the programme leader.
Units includes an introduction to:
- Modern methods of construction
- Construction site surveying
- Sustainable design for architecture and domestic building services

If you have been living in the UK for at least 3 years, are ordinary resident in Scotland before the course start date it is likely that you will not have to pay fees for your full time course. Please check our Fee Waiver Policy.
