This course is a provides the perfect foundations for a career in the construction industry, giving you the knowledge and skills required to work as a technician.

Entry requirements

Successful completion of an NPA Construction related course or 3 National 4 passes or above or equivalent, in appropriate English, Science, Mathematics or technical subjects.

Applicants who do not meet these criteria but have relevant industry related experience will be considered at the discretion of the programme leader.

Units includes an introduction to:

  • Modern methods of construction
  • Construction site surveying
  • Sustainable design for architecture and domestic building services
