What is special about this course?

This programme is highly practical in nature and is aimed at candidates who have little or no experience in hairdressing who may have recently left school.

The course would also suit those who may have been away from further education for a while.  The programme will help to develop the confidence and skills necessary to tackle a full-time programme in hairdressing or beauty.

  • There are no formal entry requirements for this course however your personal statement should reflect your passion for this subject.
  • You may be required to attend an interview
  • Applicants should have good manual dexterity and enjoy meeting and working with people.

Course assessment takes place throughout each unit and will include written tests, projects, assignments and other forms of assessment including observation in the commercial salons.
