What is special about this course?

IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) Working Safely aims to make people, at all levels, aware of their responsibility for safety towards themselves, colleagues and others affected by work activities.

Entry requirements

All people whose work exposes them to risk including machine and process operators, office and process non-industrial operators, first-line supervisors who have had no formal safety and health training. This course is also suitable for candidates who require a health and safety certificate to obtain their CSCS card.

What can I do on completion of my course?

On successful completion candidates gain the widely recognised IOSH Certificate in Working Safely. It is recommended to refresh the course every 3 years.

This programme will help candidates to:

  • Identify hazards and evaluate risks in their workplace
  • Assist maagers in preparing written risk assessments
  • Follow their organisations health and safety policy
  • Carry out work activities without risk to themselves
  • Report relevant accidents and incidents
