Acting and Theatre Performance NC SCQF Level 6

What is special about this course?

Do you love theatre and performing? The Inverness College NC Acting and Theatre Performance offers you the opportunity to develop foundational theatre skills though preparing, rehearsing and performing. You will also cultivate essential performance analysis skills and understanding of how theatre is produced. The course includes theatrical make up, costume construction, running a performance and preparing for an audition, providing an excellent start for your theatre education and career.

The course is delivered at Inverness College and available for full-time and part-time study.

 

Entry requirements

  • At least one National 5 at grade C or above in a suitable subject, such as Drama, English or Communication.
  • Other qualifications may be considered.

If you have been living in the UK for at least 3 years, are ordinary resident in Scotland before the course start date it is likely that you will not have to pay fees for your full time course.  Please check our Fee Waiver Policy.

Full time students will automatically receive the fee waiver if they are eligible. We will use the information provided on your course application form to determine whether you are eligible.

What can I do on completion of my course?

On successful completion of the NC Acting and Theatre Performance students will be eligible to apply for HNC Acting and Performance or year 1 of BA (Hons) Drama and Production.
