What is special about this course?
This course is certified by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) and designed for those employed in the motor vehicle industry.
This Modern Apprenticeship is studied block release in college over a one year period. It is for people employed in the industry. It can be undertaken by the apprentice at the same time as the SVQ 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Modern Apprenticeship.
Apprentices would normally commence their apprenticeship by applying for IMI Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Modern Apprenticeship or the Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (SVQ3) Modern Apprenticeship. However, this is subject to experience and the Business Solutions team will advise based on individual circumstances.
Entry requirements
Candidates must be working in a relevant industry.
SVQ2 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair/IMI level 2 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair OR relevant industry experience.
This course consists of block release in college and provides the dual benefit of students gaining a nationally recognised qualification while being paid as they work.
This Modern Apprenticeship is certified by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) and designed for those employed in the motor vehicle industry. It is recognised and valued by employers.
