Andrew PotterProfile

Since graduating from Edinburgh University in 2002 with an honours degree in Forestry I spent the next 5 years building practical experience as a forestry, footpath and Arboricultural contractor including setting up a successful Arboricultural contracting business for 4 years. In 2007 I was offered a trainee Arboricultural Consultant position with the Bartlett Tree Expert (BTE) Company based at their north London Office in Hertfordshire. The next 3 years were spent gaining experience in all aspects of both private and public sector consultancy work across England and Ireland. During this period I began the process of working towards my Chartered Arboriculturist status with the ICF. This was successfully completed in 2010 and coincided with my promotion to Senior Arboricultural Consultant with the BTE company, a position I held until 2013, when I moved into the education sector, being offered a lecturing position with Inverness College UHI.
