UHI Inverness supports employers to develop workforce through apprenticeships

Apprenticeships play a vital role in helping employers build a skilled and committed workforce. At UHI Inverness our Business Solutions team supports employers to recruit, train and grow through apprenticeship opportunities. The team also guides learners ready to take the first step into an apprenticeship.

Guidance for employers: 

• The team helps fill graduate and modern apprenticeship vacancies by promoting opportunities through Apprenticeships in Scotland | Apprenticeships.scot and directly to our students via targeted communications and social media.
• It extends this reach to external audiences through events and employer engagement activities. 
• Tailored support including candidate online assessments using SelectAhead gives employers valuable insight into applicants’ strengths before interviews and helps ensure a fair, efficient, and high-quality selection process. 

Guidance for apprentice applicants:
