CREATE offers funded places on the fully online Catalyst Programme. Catalyst offers training tailored to small businesses and sole traders throughout the Highlands & Islands, Morayshire, Perthshire, and Argyll.

Developed for small rural business owners by small rural business owners, Catalyst targets their needs and:

  • Develops their entrepreneurial skills
  • Improves their leadership practices and the productivity of their business
  • Applies proven methods to analyse, develop and trial ideas to grow their- business
  • Shares local entrepreneur experiences through short video interviews
  • Presents focussed content in an engaging form.

What Catalyst offers:

The programme consists of 6 modules and is taught entirely online with an initial induction on how to use the online tools and resources as well as twilight, tutor-led group sessions.

The twilight sessions, 6pm to 8pm, are for group and tutor support and to discuss the learning from the online resources. There is no assessment/exam, but delegates will have a clear direction of where they want to take their business through the online learning, group discussion and activities they are asked to complete, by the end of the programme.
