A total of 26 students signed up to be Student Engagement Reps and 15 of them fully engaged with the programme.

They made a positive impact throughout the academic year by promoting and restocking The Larder and The Cubby - two provisions on campus that provide free food, essentials and toiletries to students. Some of them also hosted Digital Skills Support sessions and peer-to-peer support for fellow students. Others acted as Wellbeing Ambassadors by taking part in internal and external training, getting involved in wellbeing events and supporting students in The Bothy, a study support area.

Special thanks was also given to staff leads who guided and mentored them – Caroline Mitchell, Leigh Payne, Laurie Symon, Kelly Mackenzie, Lynsey Mason, Louise Darnley and Claire Kilburn-Young.

Quality Officer Emma Baillie, who organised the event, said:

"It’s truly inspiring to see students and staff working side by side, shaping meaningful projects and making a difference in our community. This year’s work has been closely tied to developing meta skills, equipping students with valuable experience for their future careers."
