Emma, who hopes the positivity around her achievement inspires others to consider SVQ3 studies, demonstrated outstanding commitment, professionalism and a deep understanding of person-centred care throughout her qualification which she gained through UHI Inverness.

Her submitted evidence was of an especially high standard and observations carried out in practice showed consistent, meaningful and compassionate care. Her ability to translate values, theory and policy into everyday practice clearly set her apart.

Alongside the SVQ, Emma completed the Core Skill in ICT and has already successfully achieved CHS3 – Administer Medication to Individuals with the NHS.

Julie Jones, the Depute Curriculum Lead in Sport and Early Years at UHI Inverness, said: “Emma’s achievement is a powerful example of what can be accomplished through dedication, strong workplace support and high-quality assessment. It is an outstanding success story and a real credit to both Emma and the NHS care workforce in the Highlands.”
