When can I apply?
- If your course starts in January, online applications open in October and close at the end of January.
- If your course starts in August/September, online applications open in October and will stay open until September or until a course is full.
- For some courses, we’ll ask you to submit a portfolio as part of the entry requirements.
- Please contact admissions.ic@uhi.ac.uk if would like further information about availability of places.

Further education courses (SCQF 1-6): Apply online via the course page. You'll find the apply button on the bottom of the page.
HNC or HND courses (SCQF 7-8): If you're considering UHI Inverness only, apply online via the course page on the website. If you are considering UHI Inverness and another College/University, apply via UCAS.
Degree course: Apply via UCAS.

You are required to complete a Bank Letter Request Form, available from info.ic@uhi.ac.uk.
Please complete the form and return to info.ic@uhi.ac.uk, allowing 24 hours for the letter to be created.

Do I need to be on campus 5 days a week?
You are expected to attend campus for timetabled classes which consist of lecturers, group and individual activities. A full-time course is typically 2.5 days per week.
