Your learning - what to expect
2022/23 Academic Year
We will resume face-to-face teaching in 2022/23.
Your timetable will show you when you should be on campus for classes and when you should access your classes remotely via a laptop or other device. You’ll also find out more about this at your induction.
All students will also be able to come onto campus to access facilities including the Library, Learning Resource, The Bothy and Student Support Centre.
Modes of delivery
Modes of delivery
Courses at Inverness College UHI are delivered in a variety of different ways. Depending on your course, you will either study:
Face to face
Classes take place on campus, with lecturers delivering timetabled teaching face to face.
Blended learning
Students study through a combination of face to face classes on campus and remote learning, where some lectures and other sessions are timetabled remotely via our Brightspace virtual learning environment and video conferencing.
Remote
You will access all learning via your computer or device. Lectures and other sessions are timetabled and you will attend these remotely via our Brightspace virtual learning environment and video conferencing.
Online
