If you have a learning difficulty, disability, or a significant health or mental health issue, we encourage you to book a meeting with our education support advisers to discuss your support options ahead of starting your studies.

If you've had support at school or college before and you want this to continue, you'll need to let us know. You may also be exploring support for the first time and have lots of questions about what's on offer.

You can find out more on the Additional Support Needs page and request a meeting via the team's contact us form.

Once in Celcat Calendar please follow the steps below:

  • In TYPE field, select "Groups" to search a course timetable
  • You should search by course timetable if you are studying at further education level (SCQF Levels 1-6) or HNC/HND levels (SCQF Levels 7 & 8)
  • Copy the full course code (eg INM5FORCERTF/F1/1A) detailed in your induction email and paste this into the "Resources" field. Scroll forward to September and your course timetable will be displayed.
  • Select "Modules" in the TYPE field to search a module timetable on networked degree programmes, delivered across multiple UHI Partners. Enter the module name in the "Resources" field and select the appropriate module
  • If you have any questions, or are having difficulties identifying your course timetable, please email info.ic@uhi.ac.uk for assistance.

Please note, these timetables are subject to change before the start/and during the academic year, however, every attempt will be made to minimise amendments. It’s also worth noting the method of accessing services such as Celcat Calendar is also subject to change. (Usually as a result of improvement suggestions from students and staff where technology allows).

Timetables include classes or sessions that you must attend - either face-to-face on campus or remotely, depending on your course. Your timetable may include periods of self-directed learning that you are expected to carry out in your own time. Your programme team will provide you with further guidance on what is expected of you beyond what is timetabled.

Once you are a fully enrolled student, you may access your course timetable via MyDay where the timetable will provide additional information on class location (on campus or remote delivery) and lecturer.

How to access your timetable through your MyDay page

  • On the main student MyDay page scroll down and click the “Absence and timetables” tile
  • You will be presented with the Absences and Timetables page, from here click the “My Timetable” tile
  • You will be presented with a calendar view of your timetable.
