Development of a novel deer deterrent with Mar Lodge Estate

This Knowledge Transfer Partnership project is a partnership between UHI Inverness, the National Trust Scotland (NTS), Mar Lodge Estate and aims to research, redevelop & implement a sustainable deterrent mechanism, using innovative technological solutions, to protect young trees from animal damage. The final deterrent may have a wide application and after implementing across multiple NTS sites, it is to become a marketable conservation tool.
