Population genomics for conservation of marine and freshwater bivalves

We apply reduced representation whole genomic sequencing approaches to further our knowledge of Scotland’s threatened and harvested bivalves. Recent projects with NatureScot include investigation of population connectivity among flame shell beds, and genomic correlates of salmonid host preference in Scottish pearl mussels.
